Pennsylvania - An Everett man allegedly attempted to sell scrap metal to the company he stole it from.

State police in Bedford arrested Robert Arthur Miles, 34, for theft and receiving stolen property.

He contacted Diebert's Recycling, Snake Spring Township, on Aug. 30, and said he had scrap metal for sale, police said. The employees immediately recognized the metal as parts of the company's loading dock that were stolen the night before. They took back the metal and refused to pay him. He then left and was later located by police.
