DNA? Fork?

STOCKHOLM, Feb. 9 - Failure to wash the dishes turned out to be the downfall of a thief in the Swedish town of Gavle, northeast of Stockholm.
Police say the man took time out from ransacking an apartment to fry a couple of eggs but forgot to wash his DNA off the fork he used to eat them, The Local reports.
Two months later, Gavle police nabbed a burglary suspect leaving a house with stolen goods.
A test of his DNA test turned out to be a perfect match with the DNA found on the egg-stained fork.
A judge gave the burglar a probationary sentence.
