A Dorval cyclist made the jobs of two undercover police officers a little easier last week when the man asked if they wanted to buy marijuana.
The officers were driving slowly through Dorval in an unmarked vehicle on Friday at 11:15 p.m. and noticed the cyclist, Const. Liliane Bellucci of Montreal police Station 5 said. Without provocation, the man yelled at the plain-clothes officers, she said.
The officers confronted the individual and asked why he was being aggressive. After a brief discussion, the cyclist asked the undercover officers if they were looking for “weed,” Bellucci said.
The suspect pulled out four grams of a leafy substance. The officers arrested the 29-year-old Dorval resident and charged him with drug possession. The man already had probation conditions, Bellucci said.
