Lose a wallet?

Newington, CT - Newington police say they got help in solving a burglary from the suspected burglar himself.

Police have charged a 44-year-old Hartford man with a September burglary after finding the man's wallet at the scene of the crime.

Jeffrey Barnes has been arrested on charges of burglary, larceny and criminal mischief.
Police say Barnes took more that three thousands dollars in cash and jewelry and stealing the homeowner's car to flee the scene.
