Spilling the beans ...

Hi gang!

Kicknit is going to kill me when he sees what I have done. So shhhh! He's in bed already, and won't know about it until he checks out the blog ... hopefully he won't check it for a couple of days. Don't tell him I am doing this! I'd like to think I am getting away with it. It's going to be hard enough to keep this secret myself. I can just picture myself trying to hold back the smile when I make his coffee in the morning.

You guys know that he gets a thrill reading your comments and your story contributions. I know that he loves checking out the stats, like how many visitors, where they are from, and all of that stuff. Well, he reminded me earlier tonight that our little pet project is going to be 2 years old next month. First I told him I didn't believe him, and checked the blog myself. I can't believe it's going on 2 years already!

Anyway, I told him we should do something to thank you guys for coming back and referring others to the blog. He agreed with me - obviously you and I really know who wears the pants in the family! So keep coming back over the next month or so. I purchased a couple of Amazon gift certificates to give away. I haven't figured out how we'll do it, but we will be definitely be offering them to our loyal readers.

You guys have no idea how much he and I really appreciate all of you for coming back to read the blog. I know when he logs on, because he'll tell me things like "Hun, you won't believe this ... we had visitors from Singapore and Turkey today!" or "Sweety, the blog got over a thousand hits today!". We really can't say enough about our visitors. So keep an eye out in January! Two lucky readers are going to get Amazon gift certificates. Now I just gotta figure out how to to do it and make him think it was his idea!
