Special Thanks to SCF Reader Seth for the story!

NAMPA, Idaho - An inactive member of a volunteer fire department has been arrested and charged with driving under the influence after police say he drove a fire truck from Owyhee County through the southwestern Idaho city of Nampa with the siren on and lights flashing.
But police determined the Murphy-Reynolds-Wilson Volunteer Fire Department truck wasn't responding to an emergency, and pulled it over early yesterday morning. Police arrested Winston Keith Goering of Murphy, who was booked into the Canyon County Jail on the D-U-I charge and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
